Description

Captured 10/29/06, at the Auto & Copter Expo held annually at the beautiful Armed Forces Reserve Center in beautiful Los Alamitos, California. Many military helicopter pilots are now deployed overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq, so to fill the void created by their absence, the Army has been forced to recruit a new flock of chopper aspirants. Shown above is one of these young airmen after landing in his helicopter. In my haste I forgot to get the model type of this Army chopper. Sorry about that. Have a happy downslope to the work week.

It must have been a rough ride because I see his passenger is wasting no time after landing to get out!LOL You certainly took this at the right time of day because the natural lighting does a great job here and the pov allows us to see straight through to the other side where the little one is exiting. Nice shot.

these young people learn so fast how to use computors and play those games. Guess he play on those games teaching him to fly and now he is flying and his passager might say he needs more flying time before she rides with him again. cool shot I like this

Wonderful image! It's easy to see, in his body language, how much fun he's having. I bet he's imagining himself dropping bombs, swooping and diving, firing a machine gun . . . little boy heaven! (Heck - it's probably big boy heaven, as well!) This is a very cool pic!
