Upload: 023 H Title: 1-800-424-LEAD Series: Recycling, paint buckets Location: Marin Recycling Center, San Rafael, California Date: July 12, 2007 Image: N06088M1cs Camera: Nikon D70, Full Frame Commentary: I wish to thank all of you who commented on When trash becomes accidental art, a series that started with a few photographs taken last year of crushed aluminum cans. When I returned this month, I explored the facilities further, making further discoveries, which only quickened my heart with excitement. This evening’s photograph is a continuation of recycled paint buckets, one of which reminds us that even though we no longer use lead in our paints, there are still places where residue of lead remains, especially in older places, the kind that photographers are attracted to. In the very near future, I will share with you three more images from the Marin Recycling Center, that of bales of tin. Please recycle, it works!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and commenting. Vielen danke das sie die Zeit genommen haben meine Arbeit zu betrachten und darauf zu Kommentieren. Egmont

I like a squashed round forms, and a greyish silvery tones....like lead. Your recycle series is very motivating and thoughtfull.

Good Day to you, Dear Egmont. Your images always make me stop, be still and think. I like that about your works. A splendid image, I love the textures on the rusted metal also the silvery sheen on the tin lids. Your presentation is perfect, as always. Happy hugs for you dear friend. Diane.

After seeing your "Beauties random juxtaposition" and your referring to James Steward, I see a saddle in here (not sure why?). Interesting. Aloha

I can see why you are excited, there are almost endless possibilites with images like this. While remaining abstract, it has representational elements that make them perhaps a bit more accessible to the viewer than if they were pure abstracts like' Pollock's.

Her is the proof, that even though things at first view look ugly, If you really try and look close, you will find something beautiful in it too. Isnt it so almost all over? I think so. What a beautiful capture and I do like your framing too.
