Description
This one is from my neighborhood. I didn't meet any dogs at this house, but there was a nice man on a tractor re-grading his driveway. He was happy to have me take photos, and offered to let me take some of the roses home.
This is a climber. I was standing upright, and still had to look up to capture this bloom!
I've been having quite a bit of trouble getting good shots of this clear, true red, and am pretty happy with the way this turned out. It doesn't look like it's bleeding along the edges, and the fuschia highlights are within limits I can tolerate. I can't begin to tell you how many frames I've shot of red flowers that haven't been fit to post!

This is scrumptious..............my reds have all been discarded because the colours were glaring, but this.........and the darker velvety base....really gorgeous!

Great shot of the climber, with wonderful detail, light and shadow effects. You did a fine job considering the conditions. Unless taken under direct sunlight, virtually all of my red rose photos are useless. Anything shot under overcast skies or in the shadows is an exercise in futility. Even my postwork can't save them.
