...another forest pond, seems I like making those:)
Well, at least it's a "place" where you can tryout your plants & trees, and play with lighting and reflections.
Toolbox: Vue 5 Infinite, Onyxtree, XFrog, G3D "Grass" & "Twig" (AKA "Bantam3D"), and Photoshop for levels and some subtle sharpening, filtering etc.
Except for some Vue "dry bushes", all plants are my design.
Rendered with "user settings" and Global Illumination, some 40 min. render (!).
(Initially Vue would have taken 25 hrs. to render the picture, but a few almost not noticeable changes brought it down to under 1 hr. I compared the part which Vue had rendered over night (25 pct) of the heavy one, and this was slightly crisper, but the difference was marginal, at least compared to the time consumption.)

Exactly. Add a little water to a scene, and it makes it a whole new adventure :) I did that on a little valley scene I was working on and decided just for fun to toss in some little water at that bottom of the valley and BAMM!, changed the entire look of the scene! You get the cool reflections from the mountain and the trees reflect nicely and then ya get the skies in there, always changes everything with just a little water. Take away the water in that scene, and things just wouldn't be the same. So, great job, duh, as usual ;) ...........md :)
