Description
This is Waipio Valley Beach. From here where I'm standing, the beach is mainly composed of rocks until you reach the surfing area where the beach will turn into black sand. Dave is on the rocky shore line taking pictures right now. Crossing the river to the cliff wall is all black sand. That cliff wall we will climb. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

Kort....Used a Tokina 12-24mm wide angle lens. Carl....there is a steep Donkey trail along side of the bushed area of that wall (inner side of that wall). Dennis....it was a worth while climb and looking forward for a hike with you. Danny...you're right, I need to shed a few more pounds and travel lighter, lol. Aloha

Black sand, possibly of volcanic nature? Great POV of an area I would never walk bare-footed on, especially on those rocks. I like the covelike appearance of the shoreline and surrounding mountains.
