Description
This is Waipio Valley Beach. From here where I'm standing, the beach is mainly composed of rocks until you reach the surfing area where the beach will turn into black sand. Dave is on the rocky shore line taking pictures right now. Crossing the river to the cliff wall is all black sand. That cliff wall we will climb. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

not the best place for bathing...probably because of that looks so wild and magnificent. black sand must be too hot for walking in.

I find it most interesting to see all these rock that make up the beach. Also the colouration of the rocks is intersting. I am sure it is difficult to walk there but I think well worth the effort. Thank you for sharing. egmont
