Description

This picture was shot from nearly the same place as the one in my post two days ago - I'm close to the summit of one of the last mountains towards the ocean, Jendemsfjellet. This time I'm looking to the south-west, while the previous image was more or less due west. This is about 15km from where I live, in a small town called Molde, which lies along the north side of a fjord that cuts inland from this point. The sea directly below me here is actually the start of this fjord which continues a good 60km inland.

from looking at Molde on Googleearth it seems like it is not so small. I am sure happy to see you posting views of your country again.it is almost like being there in person

I can almost imagine myself standing there. Love all the detail in the foreground, it really gives you a sense of 'being there'. Lovely shot, Erik. Great compo and wonderful cool blue tones...The small islands in the distance look especially beautiful. -M :^)

Thank you very much for your nice comment on my photo ' The Icelandic Iceberg Factory'...This photo of yours here is fantastic, what a gorgeous view and superb capture, bravo! I visited your country a few years ago, and I had a smile just seeing your comment as I am going to post a photo I took in the Lofoten Islands tomorrow or the day after tomorrow! Where is Jendemsfjellet? on the mainland or in some islands off the shore? Anyway, you are very lucky to live in such a beautiful country, I wish I could visit Norway again, but ...the price of milk and beer is too high ;-)...Congratulations for your work, I'll come again to your gallery. Regards, Jean-Luc ( from France)
