Description

I wanted to dedicate this one to Jeff because he really loves seeing all the photos I post and give such great comments and suggestions for me. Hopefully one day I'll find the time to read through my camera's manual, figure it out better and address a few of them as well. :D LOL These are some Moray Eels from Sea World. We didn't get quite as many cool pictures from there as the camera spent a fair portion of the day double bagged in ziploc bags to keep it dry. Very important to do if you're sitting in the splash zone. And yes, they call it the splash zone, not the spray zone because odds are you're getting splashed big time. Though of course we DIDN'T get splashed by Shamu much to Christopher's chagrin. Oh well...maybe next time. lol But back to Jeff...they're all appreciated even if I don't always IM ya back about them, so keep the comments coming. :) Thanks John

You know they look every bit as scary as their reputation makes them out to be, well in a cute and cuddly sort of way. Well if you are a mother moray eel that is. :O)

I haven't been to Sea World, in more years than I care to mention. I didn't get splashed by the Killer Whale, (I doubt it was Shamu back then) either. :P Nice photo John.

To imagine you did this shot through glass... Amazing! The Moray eels are frightening though...

John, my good friend! This is a fantastic capture- I am guessing that you took this shot from the glass of the underwater observatory- otherwise, if you took this shot with your camera underwater- I am VERY jealous of the water-tightness of your equipment!!!! hehehe. But seriously, I think you have a talent for capturing unique and educational material with your camera eye- and it really shows- particularly in this image. I seriously think you have discovered a hidden talent for photography and hope you persue it as long as you find it interesing! Not to diminish your abilities in Poser, but as yet another talent with a different medium! Keep on keeping on with all of your ambitions, each is showing an exponential level of growth that is truly remarkable!
