Description

My cameras have been hidden away for a while now, both because I've not had much spare time lately and feeling that theres not alot about to shoot. Anyway we're off down to Wales this weekend for a wedding (yip I'm in a kilt) so I thought I better pick up the camera again for a wee bit of practice. Heres the result, some Orchids or other in the living room. Thanks for viewing

I'm with Bentchick, I wouldn't mind seeing the kilt either, lol. What a surprise this shot is, I don't think I've seen a flower shot from you before. Beautifully done Mr. Angus. The softness is especially wonderful....and....I adore orchids, so all I can say is, love it! Have a great time at the wedding and hope you bring back some 'kilt' shots for us ladies.-M ,^)

Enjoy the wedding down in the valleys, boyo.. A nice shot, Anthony. I love orchids, but my floral shots are always quite fuzzy. Over 30 years ago I was told I would have to be married in top hat, tails etc. My future father-in-law, an old Yorkshire man, was horrified, so we put on a united front and demanded to be allowed to wear the kilt. My intended and her mother, were, in their turn, horrified, and quickly agreed that 'the men' could just wear ordinary suits. First ( and only ) round to 'the men'. On honeymoon in North Wales, I noticed ( over 30 years ago ) that some of the locals would ignore south east of England accents, making out that they spoke only Welsh, but were quite happy to speak to fellow Celts. I wonder if that still goes on. Regards, John.
