Description
Back in cusco now after spending the last few days travelling to Lake Titicaca, i visited the birthplace of the inca (mythic birthplace at least): The Island of the Sun which is on the bolivian side of the lake, so there is another stamp in my passport (which is surprisingly colourful).
This was on the hillside path which leads from the village we landed at to the sacred area of the island.. we were in a group and this man with firewood is walking towards me at the front of the group so as he passes i stop and walk to the back of the group and snap this shot as he walks round the bend... cant get more lucky than that!
In other news, my camera´s metering died on the train ride up there so i am completely manual from now on as the nearest service centre is in lima! What fun... although i´m sure i will become rather good at judging lighting conditions now.
