Description
Captured 8/20/07, around 8:13 AM, about .20 of a mile from my domicile.
I dedicate this to TwoPynts, who posted a similar shot on 8/19/07, inspiring me to follow up and take a shot of sunflowers in my neighborhood. Without his photo, I would have never thought of looking behind the flower.
This is the first time I've ever seen a flower that was more, or just as, interesting from the back as from the front.
Also, as an added feature, snip off the petals and pistil and you have a ready made back scratcher.

Ya know, most ladies don't like it if you take a picture of their behind but it seems this pretty little sunflower didn't mind at all. :-) It is wonderful to see the tips of the back pieces with a bit of yellow on the points. Guess being able to see that means "you done good!" LOL Does this successful capture mean we will be seeing more "behind" shots from you now?
