My two entries for the recently closed Photography Food Challenge. Some sliced onion and a slice of Americana. Congrats to Richard on his first place entry and to everyone who entered, there were some tasty images. Have a super Labor Day Weekend everyone! ------

great shot on the onion, although it leaves a sour taste in my mouth and my eyes are tearing...lol...You must have really had to shoot fast capturing the food before the ice cream melted...I haven't had lunch yet and this looks gooooood.

Even though they are two distinctly different photos, the one seems to flow into the other! Very cool the way you arranged them. The onions layers just make the eyes follow the lines down to the photo below! excellent display!
