Description
These days i'm watching news and realize that many wonderful protected areas in my country (Italy)have been completely destroyed by fires,1700 in one year,the ecosystem is ruined and many species like bears,rare birds and insects are risking extinction.
These are the parks where i love to go for trekking vacations,Abruzzo region among them...
What hurts the most is that some criminals are paid to kill people,animals and nature for the profit of business men with no soul.
I saw a man who was sixty on tv,thirty years as a volunteer in rescue operations and he was crying...we feel so helpless sometimes...
this image came to life after that...

Gorgeous image..but I look at it after reading your comment with sadness..I'm italian too and I understand well what you're talking about..Fire is so wonderful to be seen but so cruel and terrible when mankind use it for business. The beuty of nature another time is forgotten for business...this is sad...but fire keep being something wonderful to see..

Magnificent image Sara!!! Is by far the best presentation of fire i have seen done in a fractal. You sentiments on fire and its destruction is very well known here in northern Canada as well. Just in my province alone this summer fire consumed over 1800 square miles of forest. I am sorry to hear you have simular problems in Italy as well.
