Here is another infrared photograph from my visit to the Bok Tower Sanctuary. I am sure some of you are wondering when I am going to post a photo of the tower. In due time, heheheh. Anyway, this is a special observatory known as "Window By The Pond." It's situated at the edge of a hidden pond, and this view is from a small wooden building that shields the observers from the wildlife. This natural habitat is home to all manner of reptiles, fish, birds and insects and we saw quite a few. I am not sure why there are none to be had in this capture, but considering this was shot through hazy glass, I think it turned out all right. There was a heron fishing just outside the frame on the right and a cardinal and squirrel were playing tag in the trees off to the left. ------

Hardly distinguishable from a semi frozen lake and snow/ice-covered foliage in the middle of winter. I like the lighting and textural effects in this, another one of your celebrated IR captures, performed under less than ideal conditions.

Great feeling of depth with all the different layers and the stark cloud helps draw your eye right into this great capture, plus the hint of the cloud in the pond is very kool ! Well done & ~Cheers~ :o)
