Description


The Red Lion, Crich Tramway Village Museum. The Red Lion was rescued from Stoke-on-Trent and rebuilt brick by brick at the Museum. It now houses the Upper Deck Restaurant and Lower Deck Major's Bar. The Heart of the Village is the main street, featuring buildings and street furniture from all over the country, often moved here stone by stone from their original location. The village also hosts several Theme Weekends throught the year eg. 1940's, Vintage car's, Classic Cars, Holloween and Christmas. See:- http://www.tramway.co.uk/smx/cms/home/ for more information. The occasional tile work is lovely. Such great personal touches in the construction. So many building details to be seen. Great care was taken to construct this as it was in photographing it. Wonderful shot!

Great photo again Jeff and Nice pov. Very informative . There is also an extremely old, and in-use Cast-iron Gents Lavatory around the left side of this building for added character. I hope its still for using because I did.lol
