Description
Somebody mentioned yesterday that it looked like the tram was going to run over me. No Way Jose`
This shot gives you some idea, I am stood in the road near the Red Lion, so I had plenty of time to get out of the way. PJ mentioned the Bridge yesterday, the Bowes-Lion-Bridge -Ironwork cast in 1844- once provided a focal point at Stagenoe Park in Hertfordshire, this also was shipped in and rebuilt at Crich.
The 'cobbled' main street as you can see, is not very wheelchair friendly, so they have laid out some wooden cobbles that are flat and wheelchair users can follow this 'path' for a less bumpy ride. They blend in quite well and unless you are looking for them, you don't notice.
Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make.
May the sun shine down on you where ever you are.

Superb depth in this shot, Jeff. The tram lines draw the eye right up to the bridge! I would love a wonder round this spot, camera in hand. An excellent shot that gives such a good "feel" of this place. Thank you for interesting info too. Have a wonderful day, sunshine is wished for you as well!!. Diane.

Beauty of a shot. Long depth of field and you've made the most out of the overcast sky. Nicely done.

This is great and has a wonderfully old time flavor to it. The entire area seems to be stopped in time...except for the scout or whatever you call them there that the man is riding on. But, he sort of breeches the ages in this shot so it really adds interest. I love that at full size for the detail!

This is great, thanks for the info! I'd be more worried of the old guy in the electric wheelchair running me over than the tram though... Lol...
