Description
Nikon 7900 image.
This was taken in mid June when I saw many different species of Dragonflies every day and Slaty Skimmers were among the most common.
The Slaty Skimmers are all gone now and it has been several weeks since I saw one. In fact any varieties are now gone for the year but I still have some images that I managed to get but not share yet so even though I don't get many chances to see a new one anymore, I still get to enjoy those I did luck upon. Hopefully you will enjoy some of them also.

All of the dragonflies that flew in circles over the house have gone. I have no idea where they went. This is a wonderfully soft blue shot. I love the muted colors, excellent pov and the marvelous detail.
