Description
The DM&E rail road bridge collapsed just west of St. Charles, Mn on hwy 14 on 08/18/07.
If you look at the near end of the bridge, you can see how big the supporting pier was.
Four weeks later they had a new bridge ready to lay tracks on.

Great capture. We had a trestle near me shut down this spring after an arsonist hit it...RR had that back up in 3-4 weeks as well. Amazing how fast they can work when they really want to.
