Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us. Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!

Very beautiful and relaxing picture! There is only one problem in Toronto! We do not have mountains! :)

Yes, flat landers don't breath well in the mountains. Another beautiful shot.

Great POV and light and shadow effects in this mountainous setting, Jodie! I can see where you could gasp for air climbing uphill at that altitude.

Beautiful shot, In Germany they have the same problem on trees, the origine was identified as caused by the acidity of rain (mean polution). Wish you anice day, G.

I think I was one of the ones who commented on the color of the trees. I didn't realise they were evergreens...duh! :^) Anyway, it looks like a lovely place. I could use a vacation right now and that place looks sooooo inviting. Thx for sharing with us, Jodie.

Great scenery and a refreshing sight for a breathless walker nonetheless. Sad to know about the plight of the trees despite its beauty.
