Description

Walking down the steps made me breathless (altitude) so I just sat and took photos of others that were more acclimated than I was! This one was out of camera except for contrast added in photoshop. By the way, many of you have commented on the color of the trees in Colorado. That is not early Autumn color but rather a blight or bug killing the trees. Conifers really don't change color in Autumn so any orange color on a pine is actually a sign of sickness or death in that tree. Have a great weekend. Jodie P.S. Great POV and light and shadow effects in this mountainous setting, Jodie! I can see where you could gasp for air climbing uphill at that altitude.

Beautiful shot, In Germany they have the same problem on trees, the origine was identified as caused by the acidity of rain (mean polution). Wish you anice day, G.

I think I was one of the ones who commented on the color of the trees. I didn't realise they were evergreens...duh! :^) Anyway, it looks like a lovely place. I could use a vacation right now and that place looks sooooo inviting. Thx for sharing with us, Jodie.
