Hey Y'all, welcome to my homepage.
Â
I love taking pictures. I have been a member for a while, but only started uploading pictures this year, 2007. I just got a new Nikon D80, and Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo x2. I enjoy looking at the RR community art. It inspires me to take better pictures. I want comments and advice so I can become a better photographer.

Much better the path leads the eye through the photo, a little bit over exposed, but nothing some sharpening and some added contrast would not sort out. A good effort!

A wonderful trip for the eyes to take following that path through the shot. The mottled sunlight is great and lifts the mood. I would only have cropped it more leaving it closer to 50/50 path and forest at the bottom edge.

there is a long foot bridge at Palestine, Texas. I have past the Tyler state park so many times but never stopped. I think you made an excellent capture

Wow - what a great image! I love this path. A bit of sharpen, contrast & levels, as David said. I would go even farther than PJ with the crop, and take out everything to the left of the tree, and everthing below where the path crosses the tree. Again - cropping is just personal preference! Try different things to see what you like. I'm really liking this one. Nice work!

Lovely! Crop it later please, AFTER I have enjoyed this stroll. This does feel like an invitation to walk through. Very nice.

Great shot, perhaps a touch overexposed.
