Description
Captured 8/25/07 during the parade saluting the 50th birthday anniversary of my city.
Along with this horse and rider, several other equestrians took part in this colorful event.
This picture, one of many I shot that day, was taken very early in the parade, with not too many viewers around to cramp my style, so I was able to come up relatively close to the participants as they walked, rode, drove, marched, roller skated, and bicycled by. Even the motorcycle police tolerated my presence while roaring by back and forth behind me.
BTW, is there another name for a female gaucho? Gauchoess, maybe?
