Description
Captured 8/25/07 during the parade celebrating the 50th birthday anniversary of my city.
The trio with their Arabian camels were on their way to an oasis for a drink of water and a few palm dates when they got caught up in the parade.
Many of you are probably too young to remember the title, but it was one of the catchy phrases used in Camel cigarette ads way back decades ago when smoking ads were permitted in magazines, newspapers, and on radio and television.
Anyway, it was heaven to be smiled at by a pretty young lady, which usually only happens to me when I go to my doctors' offices.

I remember! :) (The first cigarette commercial I remember seeing was for Winstons. A trumpet player with a mute was playing the "Winston tastes good like a cigarette should" tune. I believe he was sitting on a tall stool, and I think it was in black & white. Must have been in the early 60s.) And so back to the present! This is a wonderful image, my dear. I love the camels. Full size is great, by the way! :)

Excellent capure, I like the camels. Superb shot. You live in a young city, 50 years old. Some years ago we have celebrated the 1200th birthday of my city. :)

Well, first camels and now horses! That's some mix! Nicely shot, and glad the beasts are cooperating with their handlers and not spitting on them!
Liam.
Cool!
