And I thought that C4D had a fast renderer! Even with all that reflective material, and some form of ambient lighting, that seems excessive! It's usually hair transparency for me that slows things down but that's not an issue here. Still, a great result, it's a terrific image!

80 hours??... really.. I found C4D lies about the time remaining to complete the render... wel lthey all do... except Poser... it just doesn't tell you anything... so ya have to hope like hell that it isn't gonna be anywhere near 80 hours. And another thing I noticed to with C4D... is doesn't seem to do "smooth polygons" very well, may be a setting in the setup I'm using... maybe just the loe res models I'm using too... I see your deck model suffers the same as i do at render time. Cool materials... haven't even attempted to do those in C4D yet... but in time... I will. Nice image Glen, bugger about he 80 hours mate!
