Description

I hope you like this one of my beloved Amy. I took the photo a few weeks ago, and had it ready to be uploaded, but wasn't happy with the presentation which was just bevelled. Well after viewing galleries of others who are far more experienced than I, the inspirational decision was made to add more of a framework, and I think it works - what do you think? I am enjoying myself so much here, as everyone has made me so welcome, and it is good to have so many talented artists as my new friends. This is a marvelous capture of the kitty. I don't know if I prefer the framing to the bevel. This portrait is so good, almost any treatment would be fine.

I always enjoy staring into the guileless eyes of kittens, knowing that I should revel in the moment, realizing that as they grow older, they develop a cunning in stalking prey, a power to manipulate their owners, and a tendency to avoid and shy away from strangers. Superb clarity, color/colour, lighting and texture in this excellent macro of your fur ball, Miss Jane! Fantastic eyes! And see, I didn't forget you!
