Description

Thank you all so much for viewing - I hope you derive as much pleasure from viewing this as I had putting it together. The swallow photo was taken last year, the kitten is Amy at the breeders aged 6 weeks, and the toys were photographed today. I would like to think when seeing a bird for the first time a kitten would see it as a huge event in its life, that's why I left it looking very large in comparison to the kitten. Also it would be such a huge event, far more important than the kittens toys, hence the title. Thank you all for your wonderful comments on my previous images, and to those who have added me as one of their favourite artists, and also my images, I am deeply honoured. I am sorry to those I haven't thanked personally, but for some reason there was a time when RR didn't send me notification. Sending hugs to all my new found friends. Jane xx

SOOO cute! Both the kitty and bird look gorgeous, and they're both so adorable! I love the way the kitten is looking at the bird so curiously; reminds me of my own cat when she sees ladybugs. lol!

did you know that house cats are the most proliferate killers in the animal world.they kill over 1000 species and only for the fun of the kill since people feed them.I had no idea about this until I recently seen on TV about killer animals your composition is outstanding and very much a fun image

Jane, this is a lovely composition! The swallow looks so astute and so alert.... a majestic bird exuding so much radiance and beauty... and the liittle kitty cat, just observing. I love the tilt of his little head... a very playful and beautifully composed image! Superb work!

Fine POVs, colors, contrast, clarity, textures, and lighting in this unique composition, Miss Jane! Terrific framing, also. Let's face it, that swallow would be a real mouthful for our awestruck kitty at this juncture in her short existence. As she matures, it'll be forget the toys, I want a big piece of that avian, feathers and all!
