Description

This was part of my last online Vue lesson at LVS. We were learning to paint with ecosystems and when I got done with the trees I just kind of quit the image. I liked the simplicity of it. I'm having a big problem with my computer at the moment. I was playing with Shadownet's awesome Bullking last night when my programs kept locking up. I shut the computer down twice by turning it off at the surge protector. I think I have a problem with memory. My PSPXI won't open at all but PSP7 will. I have black squares dragging around my cursor and small icons on my desktop and IE taskbar. I installed new drivers for my monitor and ATI Radeon 9800 Pro vid card. Now the desktop and IE taskbar look ok but the cursor is still bad and when I scroll the screen flickers instead of a smooth scrolling. I'm suppose to have 1Gig of RAM and 128MB on the vid card. Anyone have suggestions?

DLG... This awesome creative!!! The Idea with the trees wow!!! At first glance I thought the whale is suspected but the u wrote about the trees. About ur computer mmmm it's hard to say from a distance where the problem really lies. May it's ur new card in combination with the lack of memory and CPU power. I don't know much about this stuff but those three work together. Are you sure u having the correct driver for your card? Sorry!!!

Kool concept, I actually saw several humpbacks frolicking in the Pacific Ocean while at work last week, but none were sporting palm trees ! Must be something in the water ? As for your PC woes, I'm not geeky enough either, but ram, virus or spam could be the cause, I hope you manage to get to the bottom of it ! LOL & ~Cheers~ :o)

It IS an excellent image, it's like one of those inspirational posters. Two suggestions for your PC, One defrage your hard drive, as mentioned earlier run a program like Spybot (it's an excellent free-be), and, as said earlier, your video card may be getting hot check the fan on both the Video card, and the chasis cooling fan(s) and the last suggestion, it is possible that your power supply is going bad.

Wonderful image Nancy! Awesome concept! Bravo! Sorry to hear of your computer; saddly I have not experienced that, but you might try unpluging, Air blowing out the dust from within your computer, then pulling out, and reseating your memory cards before spending money to fix it. Hugs!

Great work and going to a save point is the easy fix if you can do that. Still sounds like something that can be fixed if it was working fine for you before.

Love to see a whale with a sense of humor. Lurking about.. just waiting for some poor castaway to come to shore.. then sink under him! (lol) Anyway, very neat image here Nancy. As for you PC woes.. 'Myquad' has a good idea, use System Restore to a point before your troubles began. Just in case it was something sour (or infected) that got installed recently. Be sure to use "Restore" and NOT "Recover" which will REFORMAT your hard-drive. I know someone that used "Recover" based on incorrect advice.. she lost everything! So use "RESTORE"!!!! Also, do a search for 'DxDiag' in your windows directory and run it (click on it). It may prove useful for diagnosing hardware/software/driver issues. Good luck... Hugs from Dave :^)

psp x1 has issues with it especially operating with Vista. the first thing would be to empty all the pictures in "my pictures" and move them some where else with a different name. turn off the organizer in preferences, turn off the picture tray that lingers at the bottom as some starters. do not allow psp to associate itself with any file extensions except psp files.go to corel and check there question/answer forum your art gave me a smile.no whale is an island unto it's self but some are as big as one.beautiful work

Wonderful in its simplicity. 128MB on the vid card is not a whole lot. Also you have to be careful when installing new hardware on an older system. There is little support for open archetecture anymore due to the speed of advancements in hardware. Sometimes it's best to just buy a whole new system. A big pain.

Your image is great. Good luck with the computer issues. I'm sure that you will find the right settings. Have you updated the drivers for the video card since you installed it? That might help.
