Description

I am so sorry but I think my motherboard is failing. I am going to have to be off pretty soon to find someone to fix my machine for me. Never had a problem with my Gateways, in fact the last one is still running like a champ at 7 years old...this Dell has caused me problems from the 1st year. Going to backup all my files to my external hardDrive and that should take a few days at least....gigabytes of stuff to copy. I'm also going to call Dell and give them a hard time because I've heard that they know they have problems with their motherboards. Worst time to crash during the Halloween season. I have a few images in production that I can't finish because Vue6I, Poser6, PSPXI, DazStudio, Hexagon2 won't open....only Bryce and XaraXtreme will. I thought this just happened but I think it's been happening. Vue went from opening full screen to opening in a tiny window which I had to expand. Been happening for months. I opened my computer today and blew it out. All the fans are running fine and all cards are seated. Scan disc, defrag, Adware, Spybot, Antivirus, etc, etc....all done and nothing found. Time to get everything copied and get this piece of junk fixed. Thank you everyone for the suggestions and sympathies. I truly appreciate it. I won't be around to comment...yet again...sorry. I'm so unhappy that this had to happen right now when I'm so busy :( Anyhoo, hope you all have a wonderful Halloween (my fave holiday) and scare lots of little kiddies :) Credits: DeviantDesign Shack & FaerieDreams pollyanna dress

Oh Nancy this is such an adorable scene! Wonderfully and beautifully done-as always:o) Excellent work. Sorry you are having so much trouble. My husband has a Dell and has had trouble with it. Even though dell says it has a a great support, they can be impatient and struppy. So don't let them give you the run around. :o) Hope you can get straightened out.

Brilliant and imaginative Nancy! Sweet, humourous and scary at the same time. Sorry to hear of your computer troubles. I had one cash out on me quiet unexpectedly about a year-and-a-half ago. Good luck.

Excellent image... Does your DELL computer include a diagnostic disk that you can run against your system? It should run a series of tests on your ram, hard drive, video card, etc and tell you if it thinks a component maybe failing...

Awesome pic! As for the computer, definitely sounds like you may be having some hardware issues. Could be the motherboard or even memory stick going bad. I would definitely get on Dell's case about it.

That's one brave little tyke! Awesome scene Nancy! But with as little fear as this wee one has, it may be the homeowner that's gonna need some nerves! ;) Sorry to hear of your continuing computer problems! Best of luck getting it resolved! Maybe Dell needs a little Trick or Treat!

Excellent Halloween artistry. Any picture that makes me restrain myself from yelling "Child, get away from there!" is definitely a Top Drawer Effort. Good Luck with getting your computer problems fixed.

Spooky & fun render here Nancy. Too bad about your PC. I assume (if it's an XP) that you tried "System Restore"? Your probably right about the mother board assuming your using the Graphics chips on the mother board as opposed to a graphics card. Anyway, if I can help, let me know. Hugs from Dave :^)

If it's just a motherboard that's not too bad and you won't lose your info but it's better to be safe-Good luck
