Description

These dear little houses, also at Cowichan Bay are very close to the float homes, but they don't float. Only the front doorsteps are on land, a very narrow sidewalk which is on the far side. From the water, we see their watery 'driveways' and 'vehicles', and we can see that 95% of these places are on stilts above the water. They are painted in such pretty colours, and of course, look extra charming in summer, with geranium baskets everywhere.

The composition is fantastic, the complexity of the colours from the trees and also colour from their reflection in the water make this a stunning view.

Marvelous, glamorous, that I can view this series of your idyllic environment, young lady! Wow, such fabulous detail in all this, the marina, the background foliage, plus the placid reflections in the water. Oh, and try not to work so hard. Easier said than done, I know.

This is the way to live. There are times I've considered selling all this around me and buying a houseboat. I could really enjoy that but where do I put all my boxes of books? :-)
