Harry, this has to be one of the very best photos of a rock in a park that I've seen. That shadow is a nice tall one too. Interesting choice of pov but it works!

big rock and cool shadows.

This is my favourite of the series so far, you have captured great lighting, plus the texture on the rock. Great stuff!!!

A wonderful shot of this fascinating rock and it's long shadow! I love the texture and colors of this undoubtedly-far-from-home piece of the earth. It appears to have pride of place, and rightfully so! Your composition is quite fine. Excellent work, my dear!

The rock shadow reminds me of a previous post I made..."Huge Rock". Let me borrow your shadow so I can put it in the right place. I shot my rock at the wrong time of the day, lol. Excellent shot my friend. Aloha

Oh... now I'm singing again! Very cool shot, Harry. I see that the elusive shadow is not always the exact replica of the shape. The rock appears much taller here due to the time of day. The path and sidewalk have an edging as well which gives this shot some great lines to follow! And yes, there should be daisies here , as well. Perhaps keeping the rock company... ;-)

Your photo certainly shows of those great pinkish granite colours and textures beautifully! The shadow length is fascinating! Thanks!
