Description

Hello Harry! You mustn't worry as the little green one may have proved too cramped anyway. How about this wonderful two storey float home? From here, you'd have a marvelous POV to keep an eye on the goings-on on that little roof-top patio 'across the road', and if you slept up top, the gentle 'rocking you to sleep' that happens on the water is likely to be enhanced. Enjoy! (Your picture series from there won't ALL have advisories on, will they?)

What a charming shot, and how thoughtful of you to find a place on the water for Harry! Perhaps you've found a new career!

Thank you Chris for finding a nice cottage nearby my little green houseboat. Having Harry for a neighbor is probably a better idea than having him as a roommate. Besides, I'm not sure how that would affect my Flannel dreams in the long run. :-) At least this way, we are close enough to pick at each other on a regular basis. Oh, BTW, I love this houseboat still and your photo of it is fabulous.

After that auspicious introduction am I supposed to comment on this excellent photo? This is the second dedication -- which I highly appreciate -- I've received today in re my assertion that I would be moving in with Missus L on the little boat with the rooftop garden. But I never realized that a little innocent statement like that would create such an overreaction of comment. Actually, do I detect a bit of facetiousness and jocularity in all this from MrsLubner and yourself? Naw, couldn't be. Oh my, this is enough to make me change my avatar.
