Description

I was watching the sundog on the right for a while, and finally puled off the road to take a picture of it. I took a few, then zoomed out and took one with the sun directly in the middle of the viewfinder, just for variety... Sat back in the seat just afterwards to see if I liked the effect, and saw that there were actually two sundogs!! I couldn't wait to take a couple more shots. (I don't take a lot of pictures of the sun directly, but for this I made an exception - don't want to burn out the lense). Later, after I got home, I found out that there was actually a third sundog straight above the sun, but the visor blocked it out (I had to protect my eyes, didn't I?), so I caught it in another capture. I don't know how to put the images together to make the three sundogs apear on one image, or I would just to have the "complete" picture. Finding a sundog is not really something you'd see everyday... but finding two was really a wonderful and amazing sight! Imagine my excitment at finding out there were three sundogs! And my disapointment that I didn't find out until I was home and could no longer see them. Thanks for looking. Your thoughts are always welcome and appreciated. :o) ~Row.
