Description

Captured 10/6/07 around 11 AM, of this particular beauty hanging off a chain link fence surrounding a parking lot about .25 of a mile from my dwelling. Since the fence was erected, pains have been taken by parties unknown to plant a variety of Morning glory plants within its perimeter. Since the plants are still relatively young there aren't too many blooms as yet, but I took advantage of the situation anyway by snapping photos of whatever there was to offer of these purty flowers. Image better viewed full size. Thanks for the visit on this locally hot 98 degree Fahrenheit October day.

This is a beautiful capture of vibrant colour and clarity. I love the lilac tone within the petals of the morning glory. Excellent shot Harry!!!! Wish it was hot here, it is really cold Brrrr!!

Excelent close up Harry. Love the soft purple strickes on the off white petals. In full size all the details of the running veins revealed perfectly.

Well, heck... only 98 degrees? with all those fires down that way, you are lucky its that cool! Hope you aren't affected by all that. Air quality would be a problem for people like me. :-) Your amazingly well done shot of this morning glory is very bold and reminds me of acid-washed denim. That blinding blue sky behind it is fabulous too.

I've never seen a morning glory like this before. Just the purple/blue ones, and the pure white bindweed we have up here. This is absolutely stunning! I saw the title and expected "the usual" morning glory, but . . . wow. This is fabulous! It was unseasonably warm here today, too.

A stunning capture Harry with almost linen-like textures to the petals. I love the soft, delicate colours and your POV is amazing with the gorgeous deep blue sky behind. Excellent shot. (PS - I will try and catch up on all I've missed as soon as I can, but for now.... I sneak a few moments from work!!) Hugs xx
