Description

This was captured sometime in August (best guess without going through the records). I had been taking a lot of pictures of this guy, and he finally got tired of all the action, and flew off. Oooh, a gorgeous beetle! I love the way you've captured the iridescence and the open carapace revealing the wings! Great textures captured here since the wing-veins are clear. Cool! Beautiful work!
