My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Fantastic shot...I love views like this, where BIG landmarks are somewhat obscured. They look more grand that way! I love the colors here as well. Great capture of the light hitting the dome. The OTHER Washington has to work to top this! Great job!

great capture...

I was thinking that looked very familiar, and of course if it's from the freeway I've seen it lots of times. Good shooting.

I miss that view... I lived in a 5th floor apartment in downtown Olympia for a few years. Out my western windows were Capitol Lake and the Capitol, out my northern windows were Budd Inlet (Puget Sound) and the Olympic Mountains. I've not been back to Oly since returning to the state, though I understand it's grown QUITE a bit in the past ten years. Anyhow, thanks for sharing your glimpse of my old stomping ground. P.S. The I-5 view is better northbound. ;-)
