these are near the home where I stay in Las Vegas,that is when I visit.most of the green areas are near expensive housing developments,otherwise the terrain is desert

beautiful richard! when the boys father and I decided to move to ca in 1965 and I saw my first palm (except in movies and such) I got out of the car and hubby took a picture moi and tree lol and I took a deep breath and knew this is where I wanted to live,I have a large one growing like mad in the front yard: Thanks for thr memory!! lovely photo:

Awww yes, spent much time in Las Vegas when I was younger. My mother's sister lived there and we would take a trip to see her many times a year. I haven't been there very much since her passing, it's grown so much, I get lost!!!! LOL :P Great capture of these majestic palms!!!!
