My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very nice capture.

I wish I could hear it Tara, rather than what I can hear just now. The explosion of fireworks going of one after the other, the bangs and crackles drive me potty. Wonderful fountain/waterfall, I would love a feature like this at the side of my pond. I can see a few shiny pennies in there, the colours, cobalt blue, jet black and copper look superb. Excellent capture, Ah! I hear it now. Bravo!!!!!

What a bizarre sculpture you've captured here, Tara! If I didn't know that was water in the fountain I'd swear it was an oily mass of tar, or a tarry mass of oil. Or, at the very least, just good old fetid water. In any case, terrific POV, clarity and black & gray colors on display here.

It makes a cool semi-abstract image too--I love pictures of water, it's so interesting with all it's shapes and reflections.

Beautiful composition.

I can hear the babbling brook without having to go on a hike with Dennis (Cosine)...so life is good. Not that I would mind spending time with Dennis, it is just that I could never keep up with him on a hike.

What a delightful fountain, and you've captured it well! Your stop-action on the falling water is my preference over the usual milky time-lapse shot.

PS and yourself did a great job...
