Description

Shot taken today at a little spot in Grosmont, North Yorkshire. This goose was telling me in no uncertain terms to go away! He'd had enough of me and my lens. I beat a hasty retreat. Sorry, I have not been online much since Friday. I will catch up with you all in the week. Thank you for looking and for treasured comments. Have a happy eventime. Hugs. Diane. xx

Stunning capture! Geese are THE Best watch dogs! Very protective of what's theirs. And this one is determined to roust you from his territory! Bravo for him, and you for reaching safety before he got you, LOL!! The scenery is beautiful, and the light just perfect!

Wonderful shot, so did you ask one to pose naturally while the other spread it's wings ? LOL I bet this pic was a miracle to get so perfect.

Trying to do some catch up. Looks like some one hit this poor guy on the top of the head. lol.. Great shot and I know how dangerous these geese can be, got attacked once by them as dear foggie ran for the camera lol. Hope all is well you way. Chocolate hugs:0)bonita

Excellent shot! Luckily for him, geese can be pretty intimidating, otherwise holding his wings out like that would have everyone flocking over to take his picture. You got a beautiful one before heeding his warning.

Bella e simpatica foto ! Le oche a volte sono molto decise nel difendere la privacy! ( alla Piaggetta a volte corrono dietro cercando di colpire col becco) Beautiful and nice pictures! The geese are sometimes very strong in defending the privacy! (Piaggetta to sometimes run after trying to strike with his beak)
