Description

And now for something else completely different...sort of. I've been on this light and shadow kick lately, especially since I am a long term guest in an apartment full of interesting pebbled glass panels in most of the doors. This shot came about shorty after my morning shower. I noticed light shining in through one of the doors and it struck me as...well...a bit spooky in that B-movie sort of way, and so since I was bored, I decided to amuse myself and this is what happened. It takes so little to amuse me. There is minimal post work here...I narrowed my neck and added a faint hint of a diffuse glow to the glass.

As a child I lived in a house with a pebbled pale green glass front door and it always frightened me to see the strange outlines of people outside. I would imagine the worst scenarios. This very creative work brings back those spooky feelings. CC

Wonderful photo! It is one that if you were walking by the door it might not get a second glance. The strangeness of it wouldn't hit you until you had walked further down the hall and then it might be too late. =-) I really like this!

I know this guy..he's been with me since I was a child and he has been with my children as well,'bout 50 yrs. now..no kidding! They do follow families .. I grew up in the 50's and 60's when the invasion was at it's peak. My children have been a part as well...sounds too crazy..it really isn't! Excellent art!

Fantiastic realisation...my only crit is he looks like his waering trousers...perhaps with thin legs also...more 50`s style alien-esque.

Strange and wonderful. Doesnt look like photograph, almost like a 3d program, with the lighting behind the figure and in the hallway.
