Description

I was going to post a photo from the Hollow, but thought this flame combo sort of went along with the dragon theme from the last posting of the Dragonfly! It's Apo flames of course, slow cooked for awhile in PSP. We were at the Hollow over Halloween, and it was a wonderous time! Cool but mostly sunny days, very cold nights. Thankfully we have heat in the camper, and campfire to sit by in the evenings. On Halloween day, the sun and the clouds played hide and seek with the earth. The clouds were huge, dramatic, and stormy looking, just beautiful. That night the skies cleared and the stars were as bright as I've ever seen them. And then we saw the dragon high in the sky! For some strange reason, we weren't frightened, just mesmerized by it's beauty as it flew across the sky. I am so far behind on viewing and commenting, and sending out thank you notes to those of you that have favorited my work in the past several weeks, I will try to catch up, and I apologize to you all for being so slow! I value each comment and am astounded, but thrilled at the support I've received from all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I hope the coming week brings you joy and happiness, it is bringing us (GASP) SNOW! Truth be told, I'm excited!

I like the way you compose your fractal work , and this wonderful 'moon' shines and sets elemental planets and objects moving around in this peculiar and popular Hallowe'en mood. Excellent work, Rita!

Hi Rita, just enjoy yourself. Would love to drop in while you're sitting around the fire and chat a bit. Sounds like fun. Would have been too cold around here...even with a heater in the camper and an electric blanket to warm up the bed.

Dragon's moon? Sounds like a dangerous place, unless you are looking for maidens to rescue, of course! I have heard they are plenty there for the taking, provided you have a space suit, which most knights seeking glory are lacking... Awesome work!

Thats the biggest moon of the year. O'Dragon, he's Irish, Ben's his first name, was out flauntin those salty scales where they could be seen. They do look spiffy soakin up those moonbeams, as they pour down like rain. Why hes so proud he could be selling "Gleamming" by the pound, theres way more than he needs just lying around on the ground! Its really good for removing frowns, & keeping a dragons plume or frock as some call-it, a golden bronze. Or so i hear tell, here and there, up & down underground! If he dont stay at the bottom of the loch his scales will blotch, he'll turn green from the light of the sun-like grass and leaves do. His scales will regail, and he'll be prettier than Pea Cock Soup and you cant hide when you are that be-dazzleing. Stay covered up with mud is the best thing to stiffle that bling. There is no privacy, all those dragon slayers with cameras pokeing around. Ben O'Dragon-NOW an alledged monster and considering changing lochs! But this is such a wonderful scene!
