Nice one Mick, you have to keep the fairer sex happy, even more so when she's your granddaughter. I just love this, that bit of food makes it look like Gemma has a pair of red lips. As for cleaning a tank out, mine is ten feet by eight feet by three feet deep and has about twenty fish in it. Excellent capture and just has to be a fav. Tell Ashliegh I love it. XX for her. Bravo!!!!!

I keep goldfish in a large tank. They are so playful and interesting. I like your daughter's fish and the name she gave. ;o) Very cute. Maybe I'll post my goldfish pictures on R'osity.

Sure takes me back to when I was very young - 5-8 years old - and our village had an independance day carnaval at the little park around the corner from our house. One of the booths they had every year was a ping pong ball toss. You tossed a ping pong ball into a small fish bowl with a goldfish in it and you won that fish. Every year I managed to win one fish to take home. And every year I named it Oscar. Well, there was Oscar, Oscar the second, Oscar the Third and Oscar the fourth and that's when I decided I needed to stop winning the poor things as i was killing them off on a regular basis. :-) My folks managed to "save the fish" by moving us to another town nearby - and they didn't have a carnaval for the 4th of July. LOL

Cool shot. They say they only have a 3 minute memory, but if that's the case how come they always come up and swim madly to let you know it's their feeding time lol

WOW! When I was a baby all my father want as pet at home was red fishes... I grow up talking with them, feed them, cry when they die... Now I am full of cats and dogs and when I see your picture I feel a sort of tender in my heart... I miss my dad and those days. Beautiful shot and adorable lil fish.
