Description

This is still part of the one mile long of these yellow flowers Someone say they black eye suses. I thought that too when I first saw them but was not sure. I bad on names of flowers and trees. But the ones i know I get a rust as i know the name of the flowers and the trees. Like these are all cypress trees. They love to grown in water or wet lands. The moss hanging on the trees is Spainish Moss. Here I out side the truck now for the sun is playing hid and sike with me. i took photos with the sun and with out the sun I was shock to see i like a lot of the photos with the sun behind the clouds; like this one. I got low right by the edge and put my camera low by the flowers and took this shot I did not look thought the veiw finder for the shot was too low for me to get. I do that a lot just point and shoot . bad habit I guess. Yes I looked real close for snakes and gators. I did see the water move about fifty feet from me. I do not know what it was. i got out the truck with the truck between me and the water just in case. I had to jump into the back of my tuck fast. I then could get down the mouth shots of a gator trying to get me. [I most likely could not moved. Did that with a Bobcat and her two kittens. lol that scaried me when they ran thought my legs. Wish some one took a photo of that one time ] You think you did this and that about something but when the time goes you freeze up and do nothing but yell AHHHHHHHHH. No there no Bobcats in this photo I just got side track that all.[at lest I do not see them here. maybe one there I do not know???] thanks for looking and comments

Jocko, this is a very nice photo of a "profusion" (sure hope that $10 word is spelled right) or whole bunch of flowers in a natural setting! You story makes me think of that Steve Irwin fellow. . . you stay out of them crock's mouthes, you hear!

I stopped my car and stepped out to take a look at a beautiful revine up in the hills once and I scared a bobcat out of hiding. I was shocked to see it and it was shocked to see me. I froze and he charged... until he got about 50 feet away and then he did a 90 degree turn and took off up the rocks. I love this swamp scene!

I don't think I would be this far from the truck without a shotgun. Great low shot Jocko, I have a tilting screen on my camera, so I can still set up the shot even when its flat on the ground. I like this one though, it has atmosphere. Great narrative as well. Bravo!!!!!

Point and shoot!LOL! very nice way to describe your hunting skills with a camera! I don't mind snakes and gators as much as I do with mosquitos, they can be way to pesky, more so in swamp and wet areas! Another fascinating capture Jocko!
