Description

Branta canadensis), also referred to as the Canadian Goose[1], belongs to the Branta genus of geese, which contains species with largely black plumage, distinguishing them from the grey species of the Anser genus. I took these in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago and they were very friendly toward humans probably from being fed a lot.I thought this one was being a ham about posing for me I went to Arkansas and Oklahoma yesterday for a drive through Talemina scenic drive and there was heavy fog on top, but I was still able to get many excellent views of Autumn leaf colors thanks for viewing and any comments

These fellows look very familiar-- in fact, as I write this, I can see a gaggle of them on the rivers edge from my studio window. They had a rather raucous party last night, and kept me up till nearly dawn. I wish I'd been invited. Excellent photos, Richard, I look forward to the many different worlds you submit!!!

Super shot of the goose Richard, and we had some that were friendly because we fed them. ( that is until you turned your back and the nipping would start ) LOL Can't wait to see the new pics you mentioned taking on your trip. This really is my fav time of year.

Awesome portraits!!! Great colage!!! I thought they are called ham - because they make ham out of them;)! We have them here at the veterinary faculty - but they are free - just come to swim and eat in our inner pond:)). Make a lot of noise and a lot of ... droppings, but generally I enjoy their presence because otherwise it's dull here:))! And I'm sick of all the stupid ducks anyway:))! Your shots are magnificent as always and the focusing is brilliant! Greetings:))
