Description

Branta canadensis), also referred to as the Canadian Goose[1], belongs to the Branta genus of geese, which contains species with largely black plumage, distinguishing them from the grey species of the Anser genus. I took these in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago and they were very friendly toward humans probably from being fed a lot.I thought this one was being a ham about posing for me I went to Arkansas and Oklahoma yesterday for a drive through Talemina scenic drive and there was heavy fog on top, but I was still able to get many excellent views of Autumn leaf colors thanks for viewing and any comments

These are beautiful creatures, but around here they have gotten to be a nuisance. People insist on feeding them, so they congregate in the parks, on the golf courses, and just totally make me laugh at how irate folks get! The golf course folks REALLY hate them!! Wonderful "portraits" of this delightful bird!
