Description

This is from one of my many trips to Ann's garden this summer. This is foxglove, or digitalis. I know you're all agog to know the sneak factor on my flower shots, but when I take pictures at Ann's place it's non-existent. You can assume that every time I tell you I snapped the photo at Ann's, she was standing right next to me, waiting to show me the next thing she wanted me to shoot! So. Sneak Factor = Zero (Sorry. I know it's more fun when it's higher!)

OH! AH! Fox glove is one of my personal favourites! Such a beautiful flower, with a very poetic name. I think I'll buy a plant of these for my little allotment garden in spring time, and then just wait for the foxes to come for their gloves. I envy you, my friend, for the courage to sneak like that (not necessary in Ann's garden though), and I'll do my best to enhance my own sneak factor. :)

I am a sucker for foxglove. Every year I plant it because the bells are so enticing. The beautiful stalks of blooms never fail me... This is a gorgeous shot. The pov on this macro is excellent.

What a beautiful shot this is. Foxglove always takes me back to my childhood because it was one of my favorite flowers as a little kid. It grew wild along the highway and I was so impressed that something so pretty could grow wild.
