Description

This is from one of my many trips to Ann's garden this summer. This is foxglove, or digitalis. I know you're all agog to know the sneak factor on my flower shots, but when I take pictures at Ann's place it's non-existent. You can assume that every time I tell you I snapped the photo at Ann's, she was standing right next to me, waiting to show me the next thing she wanted me to shoot! So. Sneak Factor = Zero (Sorry. I know it's more fun when it's higher!)

Oh, that's what those are called! I see them occasionally around the fences that I pass during my many excursions around town. They are so purty. Superb POV, colors, clarity, textures, and contrast of the foxglove against the black background, Tara. I once thought that the the little black dots on the white spots was an indication of deterioration and that the flowers were not long for this world.

Most beautiful perspective and presentation! This is so lovely, and the colours are so intense and ever so royal. Excellent detail of these tiny foxgloves---one of my favourites as well! There is something so gripping about this photograph---can't seem to take my eyes off it!

I do the same thing in my sisters garden. It is amazing how many new flowers you can see in one little garden. Ann must have a georgeous garden. Love every one of your pictures.
