People get married on the beach here but it's not easy to mix heels with sand.

Nicely observed, Rozanne. When I was in Spain there seemed to be a wedding every day in the church in the square at Fuengirola. Everyone was wearing lightweight suits, or dresses ( except, heaven help her, the bride, priest and altar servers ) and popping out mid service to buy a bottle of water or a fan. I did not see any on the beach. As for shoes, I must have seen more high heel shoes worn by the trendy young ones, than I ever remember in the 1960's. As for gunning your scooter with high heels on, and a wee straw hat pinned on, I can think of a few safer things to do.. ;o) Regards, John.

If I had to wear those heels under any condition, I would be barefoot in 5 minutes. Never again! It's sandals or flats for me. ;-) Great social commentary, Rozanne LOL
