Description

My Hiking partner Lady Carrie takes a peek of where we just came from. The mountain in the background is Mauna Loa, the largest volcano in the world by volume. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

A vastly different landscape from anything I have seen. Is it rich in agates there? I used to collect them in Scotland. Terrific photo.

Mauna Loa's always so deceiving. That more or less gentle slope fools you to thinking it's not as tall as it is. Fantasatic shot.

This almost looks like a Hawaiian Desert. Hawaii is not all sun and surf..... Aloha and have a great Thanksgiving.

Excellent picture. I think you have to many volcanoes, maybe you should move to the US mainland, this place cannot be safe.... :) Todd

I thought by the title that you were going to show us a photo of Mars or some distant galaxy. Wonderful POV and DOF in this awesome shot, Shark!
