My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I think this is beautiful, and for me, there's no melancholy here, only, 'Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness', and 'Bare ruined choirs, where late the sweet birds sang'. Love it!

I really love days that are soft and dreamy like this. Just a hint of the deep rich colors on the other side of the veil. Excellent capture. Bunny

As you know, I love fog/mist photos and find this one super great with all that wicked foliage dominating the scene. Incidentally, I thought you worked at home and didn't have to drive to work.

Beautiful photography. Beautiful poetry.

That is just the way I feel on the way to work around here. The fog is so thick you can hardly see what is in front of you. Glad to see that you at least captured the mood.

The poem sucks! Cut the alarm off. Do not drive to work. Stay in bed, get up at two p.m. Drink coffee until three. Get your camera out and take pictures in your robe until four or five. Go back and take a thirty minute nap. Get up and make an egg sandwich, eat it while uploading newly acquired macros of perfect roses and orchids. Upload to RR and take a long shower until hot water runs out. Call office and complain about twenty four hour virus, and promise to be in bright and early tomorrow. Todd P.S. Great picture and I am just kidding about your poem. Just a different point of view........ :)

It's sometimes hard to get yourself in gear on mornings like this, but there is a very serene quality to a misty morning. Excellently captured atmosphere!
