Description

Another pic for the November forum challenge. Shot taken at Westonbert Arboretum on the 3rd November at the UK Renderosity meet up with Chrissy, Danny, Vera, Rich, and David (BibbyBear, danob, PeeWee05, inshaala, and Fred255). Postwork included desaturation layer, then selective colour mask at 100% opacity for the brighter leaves, and 40% opacity with the rest. Also, a very slight burn was used to bring out some of the details. Thanks for looking and any comments and critique are more than welcome!

Now the results of your superb photography and persevering postwork are excellent Carl. I'm so glad you decided to work on this shot, the details, clarity and crispness of the leaves displaying such wonderful textures and the intensity of the reds are amazing. Great DOF and I love the hint of sunlight shining on the selected leaf, it adds a touch of "glimmer". This is truly a feast for the eyes with so much to see and explore!! Also a great choice for the Forum Challenge too! Truly excellent hun! Hugs xox
