Description

Some of you will remember, I posted some shots of a market on the Town Hall carpark, I did say then that I would try and get a good shot of the front of this historic building. The location I took these two from is unavailable to me now, so I will have to make do with these from a couple of years back. Not very good quality I'm afraid as I had to scan them in. The top one is in the summer as you can see by the trees, the second one was winter when they were repairing the small spire on top of the Town Hall. Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are.

Excellent Jeff! Well composed, and the difference in light between the two is very obvious. Awesome detail! 5+

I found 6 errors but can't find the 7th (just joking). That's indeed very interesting to compare shots taken at different seasons and times. But I'm really bothered by the white dots on the right of the building on both pictures. Do you have a problem with your scanner?

Oh No!!! Homesick again!!!!! I had a friend who lived in Rochdale. I lived close by in a little place called Middleton Junction. Two lovely shots brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye!!!

This is an incredible viewpoint from the "Town Flats" Jeff, Its a great pity you couldn't go again to capture such a view (and take me along lol) It really is an impressive building. You can see how green the vegitation is in the Summer shot, I'd love to get a snow shot from this pov. According to the clock you took the second picture 55minutes later lol.
